Job Overview

As a Manager of Cleaning Operations, you will oversee the delivery of cleaning services across various government sites in the Ballina/Tweed region. Your key responsibility will be to ensure effective service delivery while leveraging technology and financial acumen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a diverse team of frontline employees, focusing on rostering, payroll, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Establish strong relationships with clients and employees through regular communication and collaboration.
  • Prioritize health and safety by conducting toolbox talks and risk assessments, ensuring a secure working environment.
  • Develop and maintain exceptional customer service skills, fostering trust and satisfaction among stakeholders.
  • Nurture strong working relationships, promote teamwork, and encourage open communication within the organization.
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of work health and safety principles, ensuring compliance and minimizing risks.
  • Deliver cleaning services according to contractual requirements, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in cleaning operations and managing a diverse workforce.
  • Possess or be willing to obtain a Certificate IV in Asset Maintenance.
  • Display ability to work independently, productively, and with minimal supervision, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Maintain a valid driver's license and possess full work rights.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and technical skills, facilitating seamless collaboration and information exchange.
  • Be proficient in conducting incident investigations and developing solutions to mitigate future occurrences.
