Gardening Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Gardening & Home Maintenance Support Worker to join our team at Chorus. As a Support Worker, you will provide gardening and maintenance services to seniors and NDIS customers, enabling them to stay in their own homes longer.
Key Responsibilities- Provide gardening and maintenance services to customers, including lawn mowing, gardening, and home maintenance tasks.
- Work collaboratively with a team of passionate and dedicated professionals to deliver high-quality services to customers.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, volunteers, and colleagues.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of yourself, customers, and the team by adopting a safety-first approach.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Previous experience in gardening or a related field is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with people of varying skills and abilities.
- Basic computer and paperwork skills, including the ability to use software and systems relevant to the role.
- A safety-first approach to ensure the safety and wellbeing of yourself, customers, and the team.
- A willingness to work across other services to spend time with customers and provide support as needed.
- A competitive hourly rate from $31.04.
- Attractive salary packaging options (up to $15,900 per year tax-free) and an additional $2,650 for Meals and Entertainment.
