Gardening and Home Maintenance Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Support Worker to join our team at Chorus, a leading organization providing support services to seniors, people on the mental health recovery journey, and those living with a disability.
The successful candidate will provide gardening and maintenance services to seniors and NDIS customers, enabling them to stay in their own homes longer.
Key Responsibilities- Provide gardening and maintenance services to customers, including lawn mowing, gardening, and home maintenance tasks.
- Work collaboratively with customers, volunteers, and other team members to deliver high-quality services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans to ensure the well-being of customers and team members.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including customer interactions and service delivery.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Previous experience in gardening and maintenance is required.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with diverse customer groups.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer and paperwork skills.
- Current Western Australian Drivers Licence with no restrictions.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- First Aid Certificate with 12 months or less currency.
