About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Worker Team Leader to join our team at Uniting Aged Care. As a Homemaker Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of care workers and ensuring the smooth operation of a household.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and lead a team of care workers to provide high-quality care to residents
  • Manage queries and feedback from residents, families, and other service providers
  • Monitor equipment and arrange maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Track supplies and consumables and re-order as needed within budget
  • Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care, prioritizing dignity and independence
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our service, aligning with Aged Care Accreditation Standards
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
  • Previous supervisory experience in aged or community care (or similar industry experience)
  • Adaptability, resourcefulness, and ability to live our values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness
  • Experience with client/data management systems
  • Additional certifications (HLTHPS006, HLTAP301B, CHCAGE005) highly regarded but not essential
