Strategic M&A Role

As a Senior Associate or Special Counsel, you will play a key role in our Mergers and Acquisitions team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex mandates for top-tier clients, while being part of a high-performing and collaborative team that values excellence, diversity of thought, curiosity, and inclusion.

Our team operates internationally and domestically, providing strategic and legal advice on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and corporate advisory services. We are a market leading practice with extensive experience in advising boards of directors, commercial and legal teams, in both friendly and hostile transactions.

  • Advise clients on strategic M&A opportunities and implement transactional advice
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, peers, and industry experts
  • Contribute to the growth and development of junior lawyers in the group

We welcome applications from experienced professionals who have:

  • 6+ years' experience in public and/or private M&A, private equity, equity capital markets, and/or corporate advisory
  • Private practice experience, gained at a reputable law firm in Australia or overseas
  • Strong technical ability and drafting skills
  • A demonstrated ability to form enduring relationships with peers, clients, and industry experts
  • Resilience and a commitment to provide exceptional levels of service to our local and international client base
