Senior Engineering Specialist Role

As a key member of our avionics team, you will provide technical leadership and systems engineering expertise to ensure regulatory and operational requirements are met.

  • Support activities in the VHF communications domain, providing expert advice on system design, integration, and testing.
  • Provide additional engineering support across the UHF and HF communications domains as required, ensuring seamless operations and high-quality results.
  • Deliver technical expertise to ensure the reliability, compliance, and safety of critical aviation systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improvement.
Key Requirements:
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Engineering, such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Be eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer in accordance with relevant legislation.
  • Have essential aviation experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry regulations and standards.
  • Be an Australian Citizen, able to achieve and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance at the required level.
  • Be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, participating in regular team meetings and collaboration sessions.
Technical Expertise:

Our ideal candidate has extensive knowledge and experience in the field of communication systems, including but not limited to: VHF, UHF, and HF systems. They must be proficient in system design, integration, and testing, as well as have excellent problem-solving skills.
