Traffic Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Traffic Operations Specialist to lead the development of a groundbreaking project in Australia's clean energy sector. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with expertise in traffic management and compliance.

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless operation of project transport systems, adhering to Australian Standards and Main Roads Codes of Practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive traffic management plans.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and pre-planning activities.
  • Oversee and coordinate various phases of traffic-related tasks on the project.
  • Establish relationships with relevant authorities to obtain necessary permits.
  • Ensure timely rostering and job arrangements for the Traffic Management team, meeting regulatory specifications.
  • Supervise and assist with day-to-day activities of the Traffic Management team.
Required Skills and Competencies:
  • 5+ years' experience in traffic operations or a related field.
  • Current TfNSW Traffic Management certification (e.g. TC, IMP, PWZ).
  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Transport Planning or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience working on large-scale projects, preferably in the clean energy sector.
  • Advanced level of MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
