Key Responsibilities- Dementia Management: Develop and implement strategies to promote dementia care.
- Violence Prevention: Provide training to colleagues on violence prevention techniques.
- Peritoneal Dialysis: Administer peritoneal dialysis treatments as prescribed by medical staff.
- Wound Care: Provide negative pressure wound therapy and other wound care services.
- Palliative Care: Deliver high-quality palliative care to patients with life-limiting illnesses.
- Central Line Care: Manage central lines, including insertion, maintenance and removal.
- Cannulation and Venepuncture: Perform cannulations and venepunctures safely and effectively.
- Advanced Skills in Care Coordination: Coordinate patient care across multiple disciplines.
Access guidance from Clinical Nurse Educators (Monday–Friday) to support continuous professional development, with upskilling in all competencies and ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
