You will play a key role in supporting donors through their donation process, creating a positive experience that encourages repeat visits.
Responsibilities- Greet and interview potential donors to assess their eligibility and suitability to donate.
- Create a personalized donor experience that meets their needs and exceeds their expectations.
- Conduct routine blood pressure and haemoglobin tests to ensure donor safety.
- Set up equipment and collections devices to facilitate efficient donations.
- Insert and remove needles safely to collect whole blood and plasma, adhering to strict protocols.
- Monitor donors post-donation and assist them with rebooking their next appointment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve collection targets and drive business growth.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $32.31 per hour, plus penalties if applicable, superannuation, salary packaging, and more.
Enjoy a varied and rotating roster, working Monday to Saturday at our Port Macquarie Donor Centre.
Qualifications and SkillsTo succeed in this role, you will require:
- Excellent customer service skills and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic first aid and emergency response training.
- Knowledge of blood donation processes and procedures.
