Treatment Specialist

The role of the Drug and Alcohol Clinician is to provide evidence-based therapeutic drug and alcohol interventions to patients in a custodial setting.
This involves planning and delivering CBT based group programs, as well as supporting the delivery of best practice brief interventions within a clinical setting.
As a Drug and Alcohol Clinician, you will employ professional judgment to solve routine problems and guide the implementation of Drug and Alcohol therapeutic programs at in correctional centre.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic drug and alcohol interventions to patients in a custodial setting.
- Plan and deliver CBT based group programs.
- Support the delivery of best practice brief interventions within a clinical setting.
- Employ professional judgment to solve routine problems and guide the implementation of Drug and Alcohol therapeutic programs.
- Experience delivering evidence-based group programs, particularly contemporary psychosocial interventions relating to Drug and Alcohol.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best outcome for patients.
