Project Overview

We have been selected to deliver two major packages for the Cross River Rail Projects: the Tunnel, Stations, and Development (TSD) package and the Rail, Integration, and Systems (RIS) package.

The RIS package is crucial to the overall delivery and success of Cross River Rail, and its integration with the Queensland Rail network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide commercially relevant advice to our project team in the formation, review, and closing of contracts.
  • Drafting and developing tender qualifications that address project risks for new or changing scopes of work.
  • Support the resolution of contractual issues that arise on projects during delivery.
  • Negotiating contract amendments with clients, joint venture partners, and external lawyers.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 years PQE with a strong focus on front-end construction contracts work.
  • Bachelor of Law (LLB or equivalent).
  • Qualified to practice as a solicitor in an Australian jurisdiction - holding a current practising certificate.
  • In-depth understanding of the legal aspects of construction projects.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
