The Role

We are seeking an experienced Practice Specialist to join the Practice Improvement and Quality team in a full time, 1 year fixed term capacity (maternity leave relief). The role can be based out of our Wagga Wagga, Deniliquin or Griffith office. The successful applicant will have a degree in Social Work, Psychology or relevant field, and demonstrated experience working in disabilities, early intervention and prevention/child protection, Out of Home Care or child and family-based services contexts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design, delivery, and implementation of practice development across CareSouth.
  • Write and deliver expert practice content, coach/mentor/model, and conduct complex case review and reporting.
  • Develop and implement practice plans, and ensure practitioners are skilled in delivering services that are in line with relevant legislation and standards.

Requirements

  • Exceptional interpersonal, facilitation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Outgoing and engaging personality, with the ability to attract buy-in from diverse audiences internally and externally.
  • Experience in coaching practitioners in a child and family context, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a high performing team.
  • Proven ability to develop resources and facilitate workshops, and experience in identifying practice gaps and designing and implementing practice uplift strategies.
  • Current driver's license, and willingness to undertake travel between CareSouth offices on a regular basis.
