Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Wollongong. The ideal candidate will assist in delivering Capital Projects with a focus on electrical work packages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to all project phases within the electrical scope as required by the Project Manager/Engineer.
  • Define system architecture and prepare feasibility assessments from electrical and automation perspectives.
  • Design electrical and automated control systems, including Human Machine Interface (HMI) development.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant IEEE Standards.
  • Select appropriate technology ensuring compatibility.
  • Create design drawings for electrical and automation systems.
  • Prepare technical reports and client communications for project stakeholders.
  • Review and prepare specifications and contract documents for procurement and construction.
  • Participate in installation and commissioning of electrical work packages.

Candidate Attributes:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Background in Electrical or Automation Engineering, preferably with Instrumentation and PLC systems experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant industrial experience.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary engineering project development.
  • Ability to read, design, or troubleshoot P&ID and electrical diagrams.
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successful project delivery and be able to work independently, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and operate effectively in a dynamic environment.
