Electrical Systems Expert

We are seeking an experienced, degree-qualified Electrical Engineer to work on various projects in Wollongong.

  • Participate in project phases within electrical scope as required by Project Manager/Engineer
  • Define system architecture and prepare feasibility assessments from electrical perspective
  • Design electrical systems, including Human Machine Interface (HMI) development
  • Evaluate relevant industry standards
  • Select appropriate technology ensuring compatibility
  • Create design drawings for electrical systems
  • Prepare technical reports for project stakeholders
  • Review specifications and contract documents for procurement and construction
  • Participate in installation and commissioning of electrical packages
Candidate Attributes
  • Electrical engineering degree or equivalent
  • Background in electrical engineering with instrumentation and PLC systems experience
  • Minimum 8 years of industrial experience, including safety systems, work documentation, supervision, commissioning, and project closeout
  • Experience in multidisciplinary engineering project development
  • Ability to read, design, or troubleshoot P&ID diagrams
  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols
