Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build data science models and product features to achieve business goals and drive revenue growth.
  • Translate business requirements from internal and external stakeholders into data products and features, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

  • Collaborate with engineers to productionize models and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Work with team members to build integrated analytic solutions, including data pipelines, modeling, and dashboards, to support business decision-making.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in data and analytics, providing guidance and support to clients and internal stakeholders to help them get increased value from our products.
  • Work with subject matter experts to validate analytical insights and findings, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Analyze and present actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making and driving business outcomes.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to communicate key insights to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and concise communication.
  • Develop Proof of Concepts and working demos to showcase the value of data science solutions.
  • Delegate tasks to and mentor junior data scientists, ensuring knowledge transfer and skill development.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in data science, mathematics, statistics, physics, or other related fields.
  • 5+ years' experience in a commercial advanced analytics environment, with a proven track record of delivering business value.
  • Solid skills in building statistical and data science models, with expertise in machine learning and AI techniques.
  • Hands-on experience in Python, with proficiency in data science tools and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Experience in the healthcare industry, with a deep understanding of healthcare data and analytics.
  • GenAI LLM, with expertise in natural language processing and machine learning.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) applications, including QuickSight, S3, Sagemaker, and HealthLake.
  • Experience with agile software development, with a focus on delivering high-quality products and services.
