Job Description:

The EL1 Level Test Lead is accountable for delivering quality outcomes and facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across the agency under broad direction.

This team leadership position within the agency will have delegated authority to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities involving significant detail. The role requires providing leadership, control, planning, resource management, performance management and decision making for Team Membership and assigned Contractors working within the Work Area.

As an EL1 Level Test Lead, you will lead complex testing activities including planning, preparing and delivering user acceptance testing (UAT) and business verification testing (BVT) for product releases. This involves undertaking quality management and testing assurance activities through the preparation and review of test strategies, plans, accessible test scripts, coverage matrices and sign off reports.

You will manage and support participants and their representatives; and registered providers to undertake UAT and BVT. You will work with IT teams to ensure environment and test cases are available for testing. Additionally, you will manage and track all testing activities and escalate defects, estimate effort and time requirements for testing activities and manage the resources of testers to support various testing phases as required.

Key role requirements include quality management of testing for the development and execution of test plans, tests scripts and reports to ensure the quality of products. You must be skilled at testing systems, processes and methodologies, possess strong co-ordination and planning skills to support test execution, including the ability to review tests and reprioritise if required.

Strong stakeholder management skills are necessary to support working across multiple teams, products and stakeholders. You must also be able to define the scope of UAT and BVT testing within the context of each release / delivery and understand complex solution designs and translate them into Test cases.
