About the Role

We have multiple permanent part-time roles available for Care Professionals to deliver exceptional care and support to our clients in their own homes. Our busiest period of care delivery is between Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm. If you are available for some or all of this time period, we would love to hear from you.

As a Care Professional, you will be responsible for providing personal care tasks such as showering, grooming, toileting, and other support like medication assistance, meal preparation, domestic assistance, and social support in the community. You will follow a predetermined schedule, travelling from home to home, therefore having unrestricted access to a vehicle and the ability to follow a digital schedule and care plan autonomously via a mobile app will be essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC, or Disability is highly desirable, although not essential.
  • Those with a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 3 months relevant care worker experience. Those without a relevant Certificate will require a minimum of 6+ months relevant care worker experience (FTE).
  • Experience working in a home care/community setting is highly desirable.
  • A valid Drivers' License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential.
  • Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app, will be essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.
  • Align to Silverchain Group's COVID-19 vaccination policy which requires evidence of vaccination against COVID-19, or evidence of an authorised medical exemption.
