Senior Manufacturing Specialist

The Senior Methods Engineering Technologist position plays a vital role in quality, innovation, and reliability.
This role is responsible for technical support to suppliers ensuring seamless production and delivery of components and materials.
You will collaborate with internal teams and visit external suppliers to audit their processes, drive process improvements and implement best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with internal teams to revise engineering masters and work instructions.
- Audit external suppliers' processes, recommend alternatives and report back to the company on progress and status.
- Partner with internal teams to align supplier performance with company goals.
- Provide technical expertise to suppliers to enhance their capabilities and resolve manufacturing challenges.
- Develop supplier performance metrics to track adherence to cost, quality and delivery expectations.
- 7+ years progressive experience in large detail part and/or assembly manufacturing environment.
- Degree or diploma in Engineering or Engineering Technology; or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.
- Previous experience in a Manufacturing Engineering, Planning or Methods role.
