Job Summary

As a Big Data Lead Engineer, you will provide technical direction and guidance to the engineering team, ensuring adherence to engineering standards and best practices.

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java, Scala/Spark, API, and Streaming.
  • Participate in technical discussions and decision-making to identify and resolve technical challenges and issues.
  • Mentor junior engineers and facilitate team communication and collaboration.
Required Skills
  • Proficient in Java, Scala/Spark, API, and Streaming.
  • Expertise in PySpark, Python, and SQL.
  • Experience with Azure cloud platform.
  • Knowledge of various connectors and pipelines for batch and real-time data collection/delivery.
  • Performance tuning skills, including table partitioning and indexing, and process threading.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Agile development experience.
  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence.
