Senior Data Engineer
This is a great opportunity to work with large-scale data integration solutions in a Teradata environment.
You will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing data integration solutions. This includes developing ETL/ELT jobs using BTEQ, SQL, and Teradata utilities like FastLoad, MultiLoad, and TPT.
You will also enhance data models and marts within the EDW and support data provisioning for reporting and operational needs.
Additionally, you will troubleshoot and tune Teradata queries for performance and collaborate with analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams.
Design, build, and optimize data integration solutions in a Teradata environment.
Develop ETL/ELT jobs using BTEQ, SQL, and Teradata utilities (FastLoad, MultiLoad, TPT).
Enhance data models and marts within a large-scale EDW.
Support data provisioning for reporting and operational needs.
Troubleshoot and tune Teradata queries for performance.
Collaborate with analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams.
Required Technical Skills
Advanced experience with
Teradata (Vantage preferred)
.
Strong SQL, BTEQ, and Teradata utilities knowledge.
Solid understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modelling.
Familiarity with ETL tools (e.g.,
Informatica, DataStage
)
Experience with workload tuning and performance optimization.
Exposure to tools like
Control-M, Git
.
Preferred Experience
Background in banking or financial services.
Knowledge of reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).
Experience in Agile delivery and data governance practices.
