About this Role

We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide health coaching and education for patients with chronic cardiac conditions.

This role requires experience in cardiology and an interest in health education. The successful candidate will have current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide health coaching and education for patients with chronic cardiac conditions
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation plans in collaboration with the CNC Cardiac Rehabilitation
  • Employ advanced clinical skills and exercise extended autonomy of decision making
  • Provide senior nursing leadership in the development of specialist clinical practice and service delivery

Requirements

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
  • Relevant post-registration qualifications
  • At least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification
  • Experience in cardiology and interest in health education
