Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to support investigations into the molecular mechanisms of congenital heart defects and cardiomyopathies in children with rare genetic disorders.

This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about advancing medical research and working collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Biological Science or a related field, experience with cell culture, ideally human iPSCs or hESCs, sound knowledge of molecular biology techniques and standard lab procedures, and strong organizational, communication, and data analysis skills.

Key responsibilities include conducting in vitro experiments, performing routine laboratory procedures, maintaining detailed records, managing lab inventory, supporting preparation of reports and presentations, and complying with all safety protocols and ethical regulations.

About the Role

As a Research Assistant, you will be working under the direct supervision of the Group Lead, assisting in delivering high-quality experimental and technical research services to support the lab's program outcomes.

You will conduct in vitro experiments using human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), applying advanced techniques such as cardiac differentiation, CRISPR genome editing, and multi-omics.
