We're seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Governance Specialist to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in implementing and maintaining our Information Security Management System (ISMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 standards.

As a member of our Global Information Security team, you'll collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain information security policies, procedures, and guidelines. You'll also participate in maintaining our ISMS artefact library and supporting the preparation of information security policies and standards.

The Role

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and improving the organisation's ISMS, ensuring continuous improvement and pragmatic implementation
  • Collaborating with global business units to ensure consistent information security governance, risk management, and compliance processes
  • Participating in the maintenance of ISO 27001 certification and supporting the development of Client Information Packs
  • Assisting in the running of Information Security Management Forums (ISMF) meetings
  • Facilitating client-facing meetings and creating relevant collateral

Your Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to express ideas confidently and clearly, building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in creating client-facing collateral and maintaining it up-to-date
  • Good communication skills and the ability to facilitate client-facing meetings
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements and guidelines
