Job OverviewWe're seeking an experienced Aged Care Support Professional to join our team in the Tweed Heads region. As a key member of our care team, you'll provide high-quality support to our customers, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing domestic assistance, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation. You'll also assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as supporting customers with medication management and mobility needs. Additionally, you'll provide social support, transportation, and respite care as required.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you'll need:
- At least 6 months' experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care
- A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle (travel is part of the role)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to work varying shifts and respond to changing customer needs
We offer a competitive salary package, including:
- An estimated $38.26 per hour, plus superannuation and paid kilometers
- A comprehensive training program, including CPR and First Aid certification
- A supportive and collaborative work environment, with opportunities for career growth and development
- A free uniform and shoe allowance, plus paid KM's and phone allowance
