About the Role

As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will provide efficient support and advice to employees, managers, and other internal stakeholders on employment matters. You will also conduct workplace investigations, interpret and implement Modern Awards, and demonstrate sound knowledge of the Fair Work Act.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing day-to-day ER advice and supporting managers through employment matters
  • Interpreting and implementing Modern Awards and demonstrating sound knowledge of the Fair Work Act
  • Conducting workplace investigations with a solid understanding of procedural fairness
  • Assisting and supporting line managers with staff performance management
  • Developing and providing reporting and recommendations on P&C initiatives
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated ER/IR advisory experience, preferably in a service sector (disability, aged care or health would be advantageous)
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources
  • A quick, enthusiastic, solution-focused and people-centric approach to issues
  • Highly organised and able to work effectively under competing time pressures
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time-management skills
