About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Credit Officer to join our national Finance team at Hall & Wilcox. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in managing debtor collections, liaising with partners, and resolving client queries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage debtor collections via calls and emails
- Liaise with partners to assist with collection of their clients' outstanding debtors
- Resolve client queries
- Assist with rectifying unidentified deposits
- Maintenance and improvement of processes and procedures to control financial transactions
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 5+ years' experience in credit control, preferably within a law firm or professional services
- Experience with debtor collections
- A strong track record in reducing debt with a strong focus on cash in the bank
- Good decision-making skills when collecting debtors
- The proven ability to build strong relationships across all levels
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
- Excellent organisation skills and an ability to plan and prioritise
- Excellent verbal and written communications
