About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team in the Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) Program at The Melbourne Clinic. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with patients, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted assessment and intervention to inpatients with OCD and related disorders within a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework.
  • Work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized treatment plans.
  • Facilitate groups and workshops within the OCD Program and contribute to the development of new programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in an allied health profession, such as Clinical Psychology, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, or Mental Health Nursing.
  • Registration with AHPRA or eligibility for membership with relevant professional associations.
  • Experience working with individuals with OCD and related disorders, preferably within a CBT framework.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
