As an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician at MPK, you will be responsible for delivering technical works encompassing maintenance, construction, inspection, and operation of equipment. You will work closely with the Well Equipment Solutions (WES) team on a roster basis and be accountable for the delivery of technical works.

The majority of equipment operated by WES relates to workover and drilling operations. You will be responsible for electrical installation on equipment, as well as installation, mounting, design, wiring, testing, and operation of instrumentation equipment. You will also be required to upgrade equipment in the field and workshop, break down repair, and perform HAVD auditing and inspecting as per Australian standards.

In addition, you will be responsible for scheduling field and in-house work, maintaining inventory, servicing, and tooling of electrical vehicles, designing verification with engineers on new and existing projects, and performing general electrical repair work in the workshop. You will also advise rig personnel about fault finding and troubleshooting through phone or email discussions and create flow charts and helpful notebooks for other staff for troubleshooting/fault finding electrical equipment.

Supervising/managing sub-contractors on site and in the workshop is also part of your responsibilities. If you have experience in these areas and are looking for a challenging role, consider joining our team.
