Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team at Oaks R Suites Geelong. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the presentation of guest rooms and public areas, as well as carrying out repairs within the property.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous hands-on building maintenance experience
  • A passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Strong time management skills
  • An excellent work-ethic and proven ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake general repairs and maintenance as required
  • Provide induction and supervision of external contractors
  • Implement the preventative maintenance program for the property
  • Maintain daily work records and service schedules
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Previous experience in building maintenance or a related field
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
