About the Role

Air Liquide Australia is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician - Electrician to join our team in the Mackay, QLD region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing complete preventative maintenance services, customer breakdown support, and repairs of Air Liquide Australia owned or serviced equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure equipment or processes are safe and fit for purpose
  • Carry out works on equipment or processes as required by management in a timely and efficient manner
  • Fault finding, diagnoses, formulation, and delivery of corrective actions while minimizing rework
  • Maintain company assets to preserve service life
  • Escalate problems to engineers
  • Attend service calls and be available for on-call work as required
  • Execute work orders efficiently following Maintenance scheduler plan
Requirements
  • Trade qualification as a QLD licensed electrician
  • Forklift, Elevated Platform, and Confined Spaces Licenses (advantageous)
  • Current and valid State Driver's License (MR class Drivers License advantageous)
  • Strong safety mindset
  • Customer site service experience
  • Knowledge of control panels/control panel wiring
  • Experience with PLCs (Specifically Allen Bradley PLCs)
  • Standard 11 - support will be provided if needed
  • Cook board medical - support will be provided if needed
  • Experience in fault finding, breakdowns, and maintenance work
  • Ability to read electrical drawings (SLDs and schematics)
  • Be available for 7-day on-call roster per month and willing to travel
