About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled technician with experience working on heavy machinery, particularly Hitachi & Terex Excavators or Sandvik Drills. You will work in a 7 on 7 off rotating roster pattern and be part of our dedicated Feld Maintenance team.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our equipment, identifying and resolving maintenance issues, and performing repairs and maintenance tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, including Hitachi & Terex Excavators and Sandvik Drills;
  • Performing routine inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure;
  • Identifying and reporting any equipment faults or damage;
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and schedules;
  • Liaising with management and clients to ensure smooth operation of equipment;
  • Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A relevant trade qualification in Diesel Fitting or a related field;
  • Experience working on heavy machinery, preferably in a mining or construction environment;
  • A Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 Statement of Attainment;
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • An uncompromising attitude to safety;
