Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure, negotiate, and draft innovative fintech agreements that drive business growth.
  • Provide expert legal counsel to support commercial transactions, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
  • Develop and implement processes to enhance contracting efficiency, improve internal communication, and foster strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Aid in creating contract templates and terms of use to reflect new products and services, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Support the development of strategic partnerships, leveraging your expertise to address complex challenges and opportunities.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial law, preferably in both law firms and in-house settings.
  • Proven track record in drafting and negotiating fintech agreements, demonstrating expertise in financial services and tech law.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with Business, Compliance, and Finance teams.
  • Possess a deep understanding of risk mitigation strategies across technology product platforms.
  • Demonstrate passion for financial technology and its potential to transform industries.
  • Able to communicate complex ideas effectively, using sound judgment and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
  • JD required, with active membership in at least one state bar.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Slack, and Apple Mac OS preferred.
