Transaction Counsel

As a seasoned legal professional, you will play a key role in supporting our business teams as we expand into new markets and offer innovative products.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert guidance on commercial transactional work, ensuring seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams. You will structure, negotiate, and draft fintech and blockchain transactions while addressing legal risk in a business-centric way.

  • Support the creation and expansion of contract templates and terms of use to reflect new and existing products and services.
  • Develop and implement efficient contracting processes to increase the effectiveness of legal services.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and advance opportunities.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of practical, hands-on legal experience; both law firm (AM Law 50) and in-house experience are preferred.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating fintech, financial services, and tech agreements.
  • Passion for financial technology and the potential of cryptocurrency and blockchains.
  • Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas in an understandable way for clients to act on.
  • A commercial orientation to keep business objectives in mind while working with colleagues.
  • JD required (preferably with honors) and active membership in at least one state bar.
