Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and fast-growing community in regional Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Outpatient Clinics: Conduct clinics as determined by consultation with senior medical officers and the Chief Medical Officer.
  • Orthopaedics Specialist Services: Provide specialist services to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Consultative Services: Offer consultative services to emergency departments and other healthcare teams.
  • Community Support: Provide support to community health services, including outreach programs and education.
Requirements:
  • Clinical Expertise: Hold current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Medical Practitioner Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon (FRACS) or be assessed by RACS as substantially comparable.
  • Research and Teaching: Demonstrate experience in research and teaching, including publication of academic papers and development of educational programs.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Possess extensive knowledge of Orthopaedic Surgery, including evidence-based medicine and best practice principles.
