Singing Teacher Opportunity

Doncaster Music Centre is seeking a new singing teacher to join our team.

We are based in Doncaster East, and have been providing the community private tuition in all kinds of instruments for 40 years.

We are seeking teachers who share our passion for music, and are excited to share that passion with budding musicians.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in singing, friendly and personable, and good with young children.

Experience teaching would be beneficial, but is not essential. Some kind of educational background in music is also desirable.

  • Teaching on Saturdays, between 9am and 3pm.
  • One-on-one lessons, each lasting 30 minutes.
  • Lessons conducted at our studio in Doncaster East.

Our students range from beginners to advanced, and we aim to foster a passion for music in our students.

Job Requirements:

  • Proficiency in singing.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with young children.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience teaching.
  • Some kind of educational background in music.

Benefits:

  • $34 per hour rate of pay.
  • Part-time hours: 5-10 per week.
  • Subcontract basis.
