Music Instructor Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and passionate music instructor to join our team of professionals. As a music teacher, you will have the opportunity to share your love of music with students of all ages and skill levels.

About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for musicians who enjoy teaching and inspiring others. You will be working as an independent contractor, providing music lessons to students in their homes or online via Zoom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach piano, drums, guitar, violin, singing, saxophone, flute, and other instruments to students of varying ages and skill levels.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to individual students' needs and goals.
  • Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help students improve their musical skills.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and students to ensure a positive learning experience.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of instrumental or music theory practice.
  • Examination experience with AMEB/ABRSM/Trinity is preferred.
  • Ability to travel to students' homes by car or public transport.

COVID-19 Considerations:

Musical lessons can be held online if you or your students get COVID or if there is another state-wide lockdown.

Ability to Commute/Relocate:

Sunshine VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work.
