Senior Data Engineer Role

This is a senior position for a data engineer with experience in designing, building and maintaining scalable data pipelines.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Design and build efficient data pipelines to deliver relevant and timely data to users.
    • Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure for the data team in APAC, using Terraform.
    • Develop and optimise ELT processes to transform raw data into meaningful insights, utilising Python and DBT.
    • Manage and optimise data warehousing plans in Snowflake, ensuring efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis of data.
    • Implement and maintain data lakes, ensuring data organisation, security, and availability.
  • Requirements:
    • 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
    • Infrastructure as code (Terraform preferably).
    • Python programming skills.
    • Redshift or Snowflake expertise.
    • DBT knowledge.
    • SQL skills.
    • Github proficiency.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
    • Australian work visa.
