We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team at ClearCompany. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a critical role in the delivery of our Data Management & Analysis Platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our team to deploy infrastructure, operating systems, and applications using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) approaches.
  • Provide updates on progress of current tasks as requested, including through issue tracking systems.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, product owners, internal clients, and managers to ensure client requirements are met.
  • Transfer knowledge and skills to other team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
Requirements
  • Proficient in Linux administration (e.g., Ubuntu, RHEL) with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining Linux systems.
  • Understanding and implementation of security best practices (e.g., Essential 8, Information Security Manual).
  • Proficient in collaboration tools, including git, issue tracking, and wikis (e.g., GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps).
  • Understanding of network protocols, containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), automation tooling (e.g., Ansible), virtualization technologies (VMware, vSphere), and storage hardware technologies (e.g., NAS, JBOD, VSAN, RAID).
  • Backup systems experience (e.g., VEEAM).
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Negative Vetting 1 clearance or the ability to obtain one.
What We Offer
  • A competitive hourly rate of $120.00-$150.00, including super.
  • A 12-month contract with extension options.
