Job Title: Indirect Tax Consultant

We're seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our advisory services, you'll work closely with clients to develop and enhance business strategies that address tomorrow's challenges today.

This role is based in Melbourne, Australia, offering the flexibility to adjust your hours and work arrangements. We encourage open discussions about potential options.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage client relationships, generate revenue, and manage complex commercial relationships.
  • Provide leadership and direction to teams, including senior managers, across multiple activities.
  • Develop and implement strategies, operating models, processes, and compliance frameworks to manage indirect taxes through the tax lifecycle and increase operational efficiency in meeting regulatory requirements.

Skill Requirements:

  • Significant experience in indirect tax within a professional services accounting firm or large organization.
  • Strong technical skills in indirect tax, particularly Stamp Duty.
  • Proven leadership skills in market-facing initiatives, client delivery, and staff development.
