As a Senior Tax Specialist, you will have the opportunity to lead and grow a practice area while staying close to high-quality client work and strategic advisory. You'll work across both federal and state-based taxes, including GST, stamp duty, land tax, fuel tax credits and more.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced indirect tax specialist to join our team. As a key advisor to clients on a wide range of indirect tax matters, you will be responsible for acting as a leader on engagements across federal and/or state-based taxes depending on your expertise. You will also manage and grow relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities to add value and contribute to internal training, development and team leadership.

What We Are Looking For:

* At least 6 years of experience in indirect tax (GST or state taxes)
* Background in professional services, legal, ATO or state-based revenue office
* A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Law or related discipline
* Proven ability to advise, manage and grow client relationships
* Commercial thinker with strong technical acumen
* A mentor and team leader with a collaborative, professional style
* Confident communicator with a strong sense of ownership
