Job Description

Seeking a proactive and commercially-minded individual who is passionate about indirect tax and has an interest in SaaS. This role involves leveraging your indirect tax knowledge to partner with sales teams to grow advocacy for the indirect tax product portfolio across the Australian market.

  • Engage in solution-based advocacy using best-in-class technology, providing solution and product expertise during the sales cycle.
  • Understand customer requirements and needs, finding the best solution within our capability to develop a suitable proposal that differentiates us from competitors.
  • Lead complex discussions, define problems, and scope scalable solutions that meet customer needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 6–8 years of total industry experience, with a background in indirect tax compliance gained at an accounting/law firm or within an Australian corporation.
  • Hands-on experience using or implementing Thomson Reuters tax solutions (e.g., ONESOURCE) or adjacent indirect tax software.
  • Exceptional client-facing and presentation skills (both verbal & written).
  • Strong commercial skills, including an understanding of the sales process (Experience managing the bid or proposal process, including responding to RFP/RFIs).
