About the Role

This exciting opportunity is for a seasoned Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Group Manager - Project Services, you will be responsible for managing procurement and expediting activities.

As a key member of our team, you will plan, coordinate, monitor, and report on all activities related to the timely issue of enquiries, tender evaluation, and award of purchase orders.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to secure optimal prices and deliveries for equipment, ensuring that project requirements are met.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to meet project needs.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements as required.
  • Manage vendor data, including manuals and goods tracking systems.
  • Implement and monitor procurement schedules in accordance with overall project timelines.
  • Liaise with the Project team to ensure smooth delivery of project outcomes.
Requirements
  • 10+ years' experience in procurement, expediting, and/or logistics disciplines.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High-level negotiating skills and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational, and time management skills.
