**Diesel Mechanic Role Description**

Murphy-Hoffman Company, a leading North American Kenworth dealership group, is seeking a highly skilled Diesel Service Technician/Mechanic. As part of our team, you will be responsible for performing heavy-duty mechanical repairs under general supervision, with on-the-job training in a development program to achieve Service Journeyman status.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair, with experience in working on items such as engine overhaul, fuel systems, electrical systems, transmissions, cooling systems, chassis, brakes, and engine tune-up. They will also possess excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

A successful Diesel Service Technician/Mechanic at Murphy-Hoffman Company will have:

  • CDL preferred;
  • Minimum three years hands-on experience or graduate of vocational courses;
  • A/C, Brake and DOT Annual Inspector Certifications required;
  • Necessary tools to perform position responsibilities.
