Electrical Compliance Officer

This role involves providing essential electrical compliance and safety support to various business lines.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining existing electrical systems and processes to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
  • Interpreting, applying, and implementing legislation into company policies and procedures
  • Conducting targeted auditing and engagement programs to monitor compliance
  • Providing expert technical advice on WHS matters
  • Delivering WHS training and awareness programs
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in electrical safety frameworks, ideally for a construction materials industry business
  • Minimum 5 years of electrical trade experience as a licensed contractor
  • Experience in implementation of safe and reliable electrical systems
  • Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation and best practices
  • National Electrical Contractors License
  • Senior First Aid Certificate desirable
  • Low Voltage Rescue Certificate desirable

This is a hybrid role encompassing office work and site visits, ensuring visible leadership in the business.
