About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Chief Executive Officer to join our team at the Shire of Corrigin. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving our strategic objectives and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a team of finance, customer service, and administration professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold high standards in financial management.
  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of responsibilities, including corporate services, financial management, community development, tourism, and library services.
  • Assist the CEO in achieving our goals by preparing accurate financial reports, managing budgets, and guiding the team towards success.
Requirements
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and guide a dedicated team.
  • Excellent financial management skills, including reporting and strategic planning.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and prior experience in local government.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary package, including a base salary of $167,000 to $196,000 negotiable based on experience.
  • A range of benefits, including up to 16.5% superannuation, a motor vehicle, executive 4x2 bedroom house, professional development opportunities, uniform allowance, relocation expenses, and more.
