Site Preparation and Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Site Preparation and Quality Assurance Specialist to assist in preparing homes for quality assurance inspections and new homeowner visits as part of a multi-year project at our site located in Logan Village.

About the role:

  • Prepare houses for quality inspections by ensuring all aspects meet the required standards.
  • Complete any scope gap jobs from other trades in preparation for client handover, maintaining high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
  • Conduct QA inspections on homes and create lists to be sent out to trades and contractors, highlighting areas requiring improvement or completion.
  • Organise materials from delivery and allocate them accordingly, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Liaise with contractors onsite to facilitate seamless collaboration and effective communication.
  • Perform house and site clean ups to maintain a safe and tidy working environment.

About you:

  • Experience working on construction sites, preferably residential, is advantageous. A Leading Hand or experienced Labourer background is ideal.
  • A trade certificate in Carpentry is preferable but not essential. Relevant skills and qualifications will be considered.
  • You must hold a current white card and First Aid Certificate. A refresher course can be arranged if needed.
  • You should have your own PPE, including steel caps and high-vis. If you have your own tools, that's a bonus – we can provide them if not.
  • You need a current drivers licence and reliable transport to get to and from work.
  • Holding tickets such as Forklift or Bobcat is beneficial but not essential. We value your existing skills and experience.
  • You must be reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team, contributing to our collaborative work environment.
