As a Construction Labourer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines, loading and unloading heavy materials, and following directions from supervisors and other skilled tradespeople.

To excel in this role, you should be physically fit, reliable, and a hard worker who is able to work effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Operation: You will be required to operate and care for a variety of construction equipment and machines, including but not limited to excavators, cranes, and dump trucks.
  • Site Preparation: You will be responsible for preparing construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards, and ensuring that all areas are safe and secure.
  • Material Handling: You will be required to load and unload heavy materials, including but not limited to concrete, steel, and other building materials.
  • Assisting Skilled Tradespeople: You will be required to assist skilled tradespeople, including but not limited to carpenters, electricians, and plumbers.
Requirements:

In order to be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A valid driver's license
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Have experience working in a physical labour environment
  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
