Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Clinical Site Contracting Lead to join our team at 951 Pfizer Limited (Taiwan). As a key member of our site contracting team, you will be responsible for leading a team of investigators to plan and achieve contract execution targets while identifying and mitigating risks. This role also involves working closely with other functional lines and planners to prioritize and resource studies within your area of responsibility.

Main Responsibilities

  • You will resolve site contracting impacts to quality or timelines by exercising independent judgment and making timely decisions, using risk analysis in areas of global site contracting.
  • You will determine global site contracting sourcing options during study sourcing meetings.
  • You will forecast and provide appropriate ICL and FSP resourcing based on study priority levels.
  • You will align with therapeutic area department heads on portfolio forecasting to analyze future resourcing impacts.
  • You will provide timely solutions related to global contract negotiation issues escalated through study teams or ICLs.
  • You will analyze study reports to keep global site contracts off the critical path on prioritized studies.
  • You will serve as the site contracting SME on various group projects, including business acquisitions and other initiatives.
  • You will onboard, train, and manage the workload of ICLs and contractors by therapeutic area.
  • You will be responsible for relationship management with CROs and FSPs performing site contracting activities.

Key Qualifications

  • You must have at least 10 years of experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • You should be an expert in one or more areas of clinical site contracting.
  • You should have knowledge of the clinical development process.
  • You should be able to oversee third-party vendor deliverables to agreed quality and timelines.
  • You should have experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • You should have experience interacting with senior leaders within the organization.
  • You should have experience with clinical study budgets and contracting negotiation principles, practices, processes, and activities.
  • You should have a balance of general business, compliance, finance, legal, and drug development experience.
  • You should have clear communication and presentation skills.
  • You should be able to problem-solve unique issues and prioritize.
  • You should demonstrate the ability to lead and develop teams.
  • You should demonstrate success in working in a highly matrix-based organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • You should have at least 7 years of relevant experience with a US Juris Doctorate or equivalent legal degree.
  • You should have previous functional management experience.

Estimated Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
