Community Partnerships Manager

We seek a highly skilled professional to lead our Community and Partnerships team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in local government and possess strong relationship management skills.

About the Role
  • Expand access points: Drive the rollout of donation baskets, small kiosks, and Drop'n'Go solutions across council-managed spaces.
  • Embed sustainable practices at events: Work with councils to ensure environmentally friendly solutions are mandated in event permits and provide best-practice guidance to organisers.
  • Champion community engagement: Encourage councils to promote sustainability initiatives to residents, workplaces, and community groups via newsletters, rates notices, and social media.
  • Build lasting partnerships: Develop strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders, ensuring consistent messaging and mutual benefits.
Key Qualifications
  • Proven experience working in or with local government.
  • Strong relationship management skills, able to engage senior decision-makers and grassroots stakeholders alike.
  • Organisational and project management skills and experience managing CRM/stakeholder databases.
  • A collaborative mindset - you love working across functions to achieve shared goals.
  • A track record of delivering measurable results in community engagement, waste reduction, or related fields.
