We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Management and Asset Recovery Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing support in the management of a portfolio of secured debts, assisting in the location and recovery of assets associated with secured debts, negotiating repayment plans and setting up payment arrangements, monitoring loan accounts for delinquency, contacting borrowers to collect overdue loan payments, investigating accounts that remain delinquent and taking appropriate action, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a portfolio of secured debts, including providing support in the collection and recovery of assets associated with secured debts.
  2. Conduct research and investigations to locate security and negotiate repayment plans with borrowers.
  3. Monitor loan accounts for delinquency and take appropriate action to prevent further delinquency.
  4. Provide excellent communication skills and phone manner when interacting with external customers and internal partners.
  5. Build rapport with customers quickly and efficiently, using negotiation skills to resolve disputes.
